About Us
Wendy Berg has seven years of experience as a career counselor working at Pepperdine University, California State University, Northridge, and California Lutheran University. She also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Pepperdine University. Wendy has a career counseling practice based in Simi Valley, California. She has counseled all age groups, helping clients to identify their gifts and talents and to learn how to translate those into meaningful work. Her expertise allows her to find the best career resources to fit the client’s needs and interests. Wendy also helps clients identify barriers to decision making and helps them to formulate short and long term educational and career goals.
Wendy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counseling with a career development option from California State University, Northridge, graduating with honors and distinction. She is both a Registered Professional Counselor (RPC) and Registered Professional Career Counselor (RPCC) with the state of California.1
She is a member of California Career Development Association. She is wife to Alrien Berg and mother to Maleah and AJ Berg.
Alrien Berg has 24 years of combined experience in business development, management, training, customer service and sales. He has worked for some of the nation’s largest companies including Database Communications, Toys R Us, and The Home Depot, Inc. Alrien places a high value on building rapport, client satisfaction, and contributing to people’s growth and potential. He has a commitment to quality, attention to detail and integrity in his work and life.
Alrien also founded Alrien’s Artistic Creations, which just celebrated its 25th anniversary. His artwork has been featured in a variety of publications and he has been commissioned to create artwork for individuals and organizations, including the L.A.P.D., Toys R Us, Primedia Publishing, and The Home Depot, Inc.
Alrien also values giving of his time to church, charity organizations and community outreach programs. In his spare time he enjoys a variety of activities including teaching art techniques to children, mixed-martial arts, hiking, mountain-biking and driving his classic American automobiles. His greatest honor is being proud husband to Wendy and father to Maleah and AJ.
